Seventh Day Slumber will unveil their third musical offering on BEC Records, titled Finally Awake, this coming March 20th.
Finally Awake touts the producer handiwork of Paul Ebersold (3 Doors Down, Saliva, Skillet, Third Day) and features 11 songs that offer both the high-energy, heavier sound of Seventh Day Slumber as well as the moving ballads. Song titles include “Awake,” “ Last Regret,” “Missing Pages,” “My Only Hope,” and “Always,” as well as “Breaking Away,” “Burning Bridges,” “Undone,” “On My Way Home,” “Broken Buildings,” and “Every Saturday.”
Seventh Day Slumber fans can anticipate both a regular and special edition CD release of Finally Awake. The special edition version will hail music videos, including the band’s new video for “Awake”, along with exclusive acoustic and bonus tracks. An interactive website (www.areyoufinallyawake.com) will accompany the album release and give fans access to additional exclusive content.
On the radio front, there are multiple singles set to impact the airwaves including the first single “Missing Pages” (CHR) followed by “Awake” (Rock), and “On My Way Home” (AC).
Seventh Day Slumber, comprised of lead man Joseph Rojas, Jeremy Holderfield (guitar), Joshua Schwartz (bass), Ray Fryoux (drums), will be headlining a tour in support of the album, with plans underway to perform at all the major Christian music festivals this summer. The band’s two albums to date, 2003’s Picking Up The Pieces and 2005’s Once Upon A Shattered Life, have yielded multiple accolades including a Dove nod, a BMI Award, and numerous radio hit singles.
