TC Music recording artist Katelyn Tarver will headline the Radio Disney Incubator Tour this spring, in support of her debut CD Wonderful Crazy. The high energy pop album features songs written and produced by Mattias Gustafsson (Backstreet Boys) and Kevin Savigar (Josh Gracin, Rod Stewart), as well as popular Christian singer/songwriter Scott Krippayne, who penned the title track and current radio single.
The Radio Disney Incubator Tour will hit major markets throughout the U.S. starting this weekend and wrapping up April 7th in Hartford, Connecticut. Additional cities already confirmed include Los Angeles, Tampa, Charlotte, Detroit and Cleveland. Opening for Katelyn Tarver in each city will be new Universal/Motown recording artist Elijah Harris.
Sixteen year-old Katelyn was a finalist on the hit FOX TV series American Idol Juniors, performing to an audience of over 35 million people and earning praise from celebrity judges like Deborah Gibson, Gladys Knight, Brian McKnight and host Ryan Seacrest. Since the series, Katelyn has been featured in a variety of print ads and television commercials including Conair and VH1, and can be seen as “Barbie” in the upcoming feature film The Barbie Diaries based on the popular Mattel toy. Prior to teaming with Radio Disney, Katelyn co-headlined the 2005 Camplified Tour with Epic Records recording artist Nikki Flores, and she's performed at venues across the country with such artists as Jesse McCartney, Hope Partlow, Jeff Foxworthy, Skye Sweetham and American Idol alumni Bo Bice and Kimberly Locke.
Recent media highlights include TV appearances on CBS News This Morning, At Home Live! and a guest-hosting appearance on JCTV’s Xtreme Video Zone. Katelyn is also featured in the current issues of BOP Magazine, Impact 210 and American Cheerleader. A music video for "Wonderful Crazy" was shot last month in New York, and will be released in March.
