A Church Without Walls: Taking Hope and Help Where The People Are
13 June 2005

CBN.com - Many churches are finding that the best way to share the Gospel is to get outside their building and into their community. The WWI (Without Walls International) congregation is putting the theory into practice.

They're tearing down ‘walls’ to restore hope and help people rebuild their lives. WWI Church in Tampa , Florida is ministering to people—right where the people are.

Pastor Randy White explained, “People don't want to hear about our Gospel when their babies are hungry, when their needs are not met. We have to ‘put sneakers to the Gospel’.”

That's why WWI offers medical assistance in the projects through their Hope Station. They provide food to the hungry and give away 5,000 pairs of shoes to those in need. Without Walls' job-skills training program helps people better themselves and the lives of their families.

Paula White said, “People bleed, they’re broken. They all have dreams, desires, they all want an opportunity. And that's why I love this ministry—it has enabled us to empower people and to take them the Gospel.”

Without Walls is doing whatever it takes to reach the lost, including bringing in big names like Patty Label, Deion Sanders, and Cedric the Entertainer.

By doing this, they’re able to share the Gospel with people that might not normally set foot in a church.
