EMI/Forefront artist Rebecca St. James has much to be thankful for when the subject turns to Christian radio. Her music has reached millions through this avenue—and now Rebecca will be reaching “those behind the microphone” with her own personally written monthly column in the Christian radio format's highly respected weekly resource publication—Christian Radio Weekly.

The column ‘Radical Radio’ debuts in this week’s September 25th issue of CRW. It’s a venture Rebecca is excited about, as she addresses in this excerpt from her initial column:

“When I was growing up in Australia, music was a huge part of my life but I didn’t know Christian radio even existed until I moved to the U.S. with my family when I was 14. In Nashville I could suddenly hear Christian radio 24/7. It was totally awesome! From that time on Christian radio had a special place in my heart."

Continued the Grammy and multiple Dove Award winner who has had 17 #1 singles to date at Christian radio: "I want to really encourage those at radio that you are bringing something that is pouring ‘God’s life’ daily into people’s lives. Christian radio brings hope.”

Dave Koch, Editor of CRW, notes that Rebecca’s once a month column inclusion in the trade weekly is expected to spotlight a wide range of subjects targeted to be of special interest to Christian radio professionals—from mission insights captured on her global travels in concert, to all access 'behind the scenes' on the road, to Rebecca's personal outreaching journal observations, and devotionals.
