With 2,132 albums sold first week out and a #26 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, Mono Vs Stereo band Chasing Victory is seeing amazing response to their sophomore album Fiends. The band was also recently added to Fuse TV’s online new music section “The Worm” (http://fuse.tv/theworm.php) a 24-hour music video television station’s site that receives over 500,000 hits a month.

In addition, Chasing Victory has received raves from the media including a 4 Star review from CCM Magazine saying,

“With the release of this brilliant album, these guys will definitely be in for a new level of fame themselves.” Relevant Magazine brings attention to Chasing Victory’s album stating, “Contrary to public perception, hard rock is not dead; it just takes many, many forms. Chasing Victory has a Dead Poetic slant and even enters Emery territory now and then: not as much screaming, tons of grunge and only an occasional guitar solo.”

On the tour front, Chasing Victory just recently played at the Cornerstone, FL festival and now continue their road trek with label mates The Showdown and Tooth & Nail band Showbread.

Fiends is the follow-up to 2006’s, I Call This Abandonment. The dichotomy of hard-edged guitars and brute vocals is seamlessly balanced by the soaring melodies from the band which is Adam Harrell (vocals), Mike Lamb (guitar), Jeremy Lowery (drums), Chris Cargile (guitar), and Chris Crutchfield (bass). With musical comparisons to Underoath, Deftones and My Chemical Romance, Chasing Victory burns up the touring circuit i.e. last year’s 220 shows with acts like Stretch Arm Strong, Project 86, and The Devil Wears Prada.
