|12 Days of Christmas with Chris Tomlin.

On Day 8 of our 12 Days of Christmas with worship leader Chris Tomlin,
the singer/songwriter shares about his funniest Christmas memory when he was a child.
“Probably the year I thought a gift wrapped under the tree looked a lot like a guitar case. I had secretly really been wanting a guitar so I stared at that wrapping for weeks. When it finally came time to open gifts, I tore into it and found a guitar box for sure, but when I opened the box inside was a shotgun! Now that's a Texas Christmas...”
Chris Tomlin is also celebrating the release of his first Christmas record Glory In The Highest: Christmas Songs of Worship (10.6.09). Produced by Ed Cash, Glory In The Highest features familiar classics including "Angels We Have Heard On High," "O, Holy Night," "Joy to the World [Unspeakable Joy]," to which Tomlin wrote a new refrain, and four new songs that will be Christmas favorites for years to come. With special guests Matt Redman, Christy Nockels and singer/songwriter, Audrey Assad, the album succeeds in its purpose of transforming familiar carols into songs of worship.
