|Fellowship Hosts ROCK 4 RELIEF HURRICANE BENEFIT CONCERT on Sept. 19th
12 September 2005
The Student Ministry of Franklin Fellowship Church is hosting a free “ROCK 4 RELIEF” benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Katrina on Monday evening, September 19th at 7PM in their facility located at 308 Jordan Road in Franklin, TN. The event will feature four nationally prominent contemporary Christian bands including Ardent Records’ Jonah33, Elevate Records’ Fusebox, Curb Records’ Nate Sallie, and Fervent Record’s Inhabited.
While admission to the event is free, concert sponsors want to encourage every attendee to make a generous financial contribution at the event. In addition to their live performances, each bands’ label has donated CD’s which will be packaged together and sold at an extreme discount, with every penny going to victim relief. Seating is extremely limited, so concert-goers should reserve up to four passes by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and getting a confirmation email that will serve as their ticket. Directions to the church may be found on the FAQ page of Franklin Fellowship’s web site, www.franklinfellowship.com.
The event’s coordinator, Vince Wilcox of VanLiere-Wilcox artist management, was thrilled by the immediate support offered by the artists, their managers, and their labels. Wilcox comments: “These bands represent not only the highest caliber of talent, but also the deepest sense of character and servanthood. They didn’t hesitate a moment to volunteer their time and talent. If the community responds in kind, then we’d love to add a second show at 9PM.”
