Life can be so distracting, with all of its deadlines and surprises. Itís easy to get caught up in our own personal schedule and forget that we have a greater purpose. I donít know about you, but I want more. There has to be something greater than this monotonous life that greets me every morning when my alarm goes off. I want to feel like I am doing something that matters. I want to see a fresh move of God in my life, so I can impact others around me.

In order to make a difference in this world you must choose to make Godís purpose your purpose. Youíve got to make sure that you donít loose track of why you are really here on this earth; the real reason why you were created. Jesus saved and called you to be something huge. He calls you to have a life that stands out!

Matthew 5:14-16- You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

God has not called you to be a light tomorrow, next week, or next month, but now. He has called you to make a difference in your school, your work place, and your home. Donít be afraid to take a hold of that calling. Donít be afraid to step out in faith and believe that you can make a difference in peopleís lives by giving them the greatest gift, which is Godís love for them.

Mark 16:15- He said to them, ďGo into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

Matthew 24:14- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

We as Christians are part of the Great Commission, which is the task to spread our belief that Jesus Christ was sent to this earth with the specific job of dying on the cross for our sins, so we can have eternal life with Him. He will some day return to take us home, but He wants everyone in this world to have the opportunity to make Him their personal Savior. It is our job to make that happen. If we donít tell people about the love of God, no one will. I donít want to face Jesus in heaven and have to explain that my friends and family never got saved because I was too scared of being rejected.

I challenge you today- if you have friends or family that donít know the Lord, step out in faith. Donít wait for the perfect timing, because that may never come. Share your heart! Plant that seed, and never stop praying and believing in faith that they will give their heart to the Lord. If you donít see an immediate change in their life, donít be discouraged because they will not forget what you said. They will not forget that you cared enough to step out of your comfort zone to tell them that Jesus loves them, whether they want to accept it or not.
